Paducah, KY – Consultants tell Paducah officials they need a unifying theme and some more attractive approaches to the Lower Town and riverfront industrial areas. Louisville-based CityVisions consultants say Paducah has plenty of assets like I-24 and Barkley Regional Airport and is nearing critical mass of vibrance and activity in the city. However, the Paducah Sun reports the city has many uninspiring aesthetic gaps along the way from I-24 to those areas. It identifies improvements such as paint schemes, artwork or lighting would help to make it more attractive for tourism.
