Livingston County, KY – Kevin Dunlap's defense attorney isn't throwing in the towel yet. James Gibson, defender of the convicted triple murderer, filed for a new trial last week. Gibson says Trigg County Circuit Judge C.A. Woodall blundered by ignoring Gibson's motion to recuse himself. Woodall presided over Kristy Frensley's divorce proceedings. Gibson tells the Cadiz Record Judge Woodall also erred in not taking Dunlap's guilty plea as guilty by mental illness. A Livingston County Circuit Judge will decide the motion March 19.
