Hopkinsville, KY – A Christian County grand jury indicted 19-year-old Levell Washington Friday on 56 charges related to a wave of robberies at Amish and Mennonite homes last month. Washington faces nine counts each of first-degree robbery, burglary, wanton endangerment, as well as, 27 counts of second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, tampering with physical evidence, and fleeing or evading police. The Kentucky New Era reports four juveniles were also charged in the robberies.
