Paris, TN – Henry County, Tennessee Commissioners are expected to consider tonight repealing one of the county's private acts, which places the supervision of juvenile and probate court cases under the county clerk. If they choose to repeal the act, the circuit court clerk would supervise juvenile court cases and probate cases would be under the direction of the clerk and master. The Paris Post Intelligencer reports Commissioners on the Budget Committee last week agreed to back the switch only if it's budget-neutral and involves no added costs.
