Mayfield, KY – The woman who shot at her husband in the Mayfield Lowe's hardware store last year has been found guilty of attempted manslaughter but mentally ill by a Graves County jury. Annmarie Smith never disputed taking a loaded revolver into the store and firing at her husband Mark, who was an employee there. Smith instead claimed she's suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from her 15 years in the Army. The Paducah Sun reports Smith told jurors she heard a voice telling her to shoot her husband after their recent separation. She faces seven years in prison and will be eligible for parole in November.
