Steve Nunn Competency Hearing

Lexington, KY – A judge has set an April 5 competency hearing to determine if Steve Nunn can stand trial for the killing of his former fianc . Police say Nunn, who once served in the Kentucky legislature, shot 29-year-old Amanda Ross multiple times last September outside her Lexington home. He has pleaded not guilty to a murder charge. Nunn's attorney, Warren Scoville, say that a doctor has evaluated Nunn, but he declined to divulge the results of the evaluation. Nunn is the son of past Kentucky Governor Louie Nunn.
