Hopkinsville, KY – The Hopkinsville City Council has released the first draft of their Recovery Action Plan. The plan includes 12 improvements to the local park system, including a swimming pool and a trail system utilizing the city's old railroads. City councilman Charlie Henderson says the timeline for the plan is between five and ten years. The projects may receive money from Community Development Block Grants to implement parts of the plan. Henderson says the council will likely take up the plan again at meetings in late May and early June.
