Benton, KY – Murray Calloway County Hospital has secured a business license to open an urgent care center in the Benton Wal-Mart. MCCH President of Institutional Development Keith Travis says the hospital is in final negotiations with Wal-Mart. The Marshall Tribune-Courier reports six Kentucky Wal-Marts offer some medical care. Travis says new healthcare models like this are becoming a trend across the country.
