Paducah, KY – Paducah City Commissioners yesterday approved a contract to pay over $23,000 to Atlanta-based Mercer Group to search for a new City Manager. The firm expects the search to take 3-4 months. The Commission also approved paying a severance package totaling over $81,000 to former City Manager Jim Zumwalt following his forced resignation last month.
