Clarksville, TN – Clarksville's largest non-government employer, Trane, has announced it's recalling 92 laid-off employees. The recall comes as marketplace conditions improve and the air condition unit maker is seeing orders increase. The Clarksville Leaf Chronicle reports the plant on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard will now staff over 11-hundred employees. That leaves about 360 employees still laid-off, but it's the first time since the economic recession began the plant has increased its workforce.
