Bardwell, KY – Construction on the Carlisle County Courthouse is on track to be completed by at least early next year. Circuit Judge Tim Langford tells the Paducah Sun 45 days of inclement weather and about a month delay from statewide bonding issues, has pushed back the work, which was originally slated to be completed in October. Roofing should be completed by the end of this month, when some 40 additional workers will begin working on the interior of the building. Construction of the courthouse has been fast-tracked since the former building was destroyed in an arson fire just over two years ago.
