Fort Campbell, KY – Fort Campbell has won second place in the 2010 Chief of Staff of the Army Communities of Excellence awards. The honor carries a five hundred thousand dollar award. The money may only go toward community projects on the base. Fort Bragg, North Carolina took first place in the competition. Last year, Fort Campbell was named Most Improved.
