Paducah, KY – A Paducah Police cruiser was destroyed by a fire over the weekend. Investigators say they're confident it was not set intentionally, but instead began in the engine compartment. The cruiser was parked outside of an officer's home, when the officer reported hearing a loud pop and found the 2003 Crown Victoria engulfed in flames. Paducah firefighters extinguished the blaze. The cruiser and all its law enforcement accessories appear to be a total loss.
