Paducah, KY – Contractors for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will restrict traffic to one lane at the intersection of Lone Oak Road and Bleich Road in McCracken County today. The restriction is part of ongoing road construction. Highway Department spokesman Keith Todd says motorists should consider detouring around the area to avoid delays. Todd says traffic should be back to normal by Wednesday afternoon.
The Cabinet is also restricting traffic to one lane on I-24 eastbound near the Cumberland River bridge between the 34 to 36 mile makers today. Workers will be patching potholes until around noon. Motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic in that area.
