Paducah, KY – McCracken Fiscal Court members yesterday have chosen to build the planned emergency operations center on Coleman Road. Judge-Executive Van Newberry tells the Paducah Sun the site was chosen because of secure location and its close proximity to I-24. The $2 million plan calls for constructing two new buildings: one to house the rescue squad and its equipment and another to host the road department, inspection department and code enforcement offices.
