Trigg county rape trial rescheduled

By Rebecca Feldhaus/ Kentucky New Era

Trigg County, KY – Five men accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old Trigg County girl in 2008 must wait until May for their trial. The Kentucky New Era reports Commonwealth's Attorney G.L Ovey requested a continuance to review a police interview tape they say they never received. Attorneys also mentioned possible plea deals for one or more defendant. According to court records, the alleged victim had three drinks she thought were Kool-aid and then woke up bruised and bleeding. Trigg County Circuit court judge C.A. Woodall will hear the case on May 21st.
