Hopkinsville, KY – Christian County's 2010 Census mail participation rates are surpassing those taken a decade ago. About 69% of its households have so far returned the count forms. Most of the county's cities are posting high return rates, with many significantly improving over 2000. Lafayette saw the largest response increase, improving by about 17%. Pembroke improved by 10%. Hopkinsville tied its previous rate at 70% and Oak Grove also tied its previous rate with only 54% of returns.
