Bardwell, KY – A western Kentucky man whom police say hit another driver head on has been indicted on charges of murder and driving under the influence. A Carlisle County grand jury charged 27-year-old Chance A. Tibbs of Cunningham in the January 9th death of 38-year-old Patricia Knighten of Arlington. The wreck happened on Ky. 80, one mile east of Milburn.
Prosecutors say Tibbs wasn't charged until last week because investigators were awaiting lab results on blood tests. Tibbs is scheduled to appear May 5th to be arraigned in Carlisle Circuit Court.
