NEW YORK, NY – Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has endorsed Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson in the Republican primary race for U.S. Senate. Giuliani made the endorsement in a statement released by the Grayson campaign Monday. The statement says Grayson will make the right decisions to keep America safe and to prevent terrorists attacks.
Grayson is one of five Republicans seeking the GOP nomination. The front-runner is Rand Paul, a Bowling Green eye surgeon. The winner will likely face a prominent Democrat in the fall. Lieutenant Governor Daniel Mongiardo and Attorney General Jack Conway are among five Democrats in the race.
