WK Realty buys former Sheriff's building

By Rebecca Feldhaus

Murray, KY – The former Calloway County Sheriff's Office building now belongs to W K Realty. Owner Gregory T. Taylor was the sole bidder of the Main Street office building with a 71 thousand bid. The sale was approved at the Calloway County Fiscal Court meeting on Tuesday and should be finalized within a few days. County Judge Executive Larry Elkins says the sale of the building, though at a lower price than expected, will save taxpayers money on maintenance and utilities.
