Clarksville, TN – The city of Clarksville has received an almost $326,000 federal grant to go towards its marina project. The funds are part of a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Boating Infrastructure Grant and will be used to pay for transient dock space, as well as an administrative building and restrooms. The full marina will cover 26 acres along the Cumberland River. Officials say the project is badly needed because the nearest dock is 50 river miles away.
