Paducah, KY – The man implicated in providing hallucinogenic mushrooms to Caleb Barnett prior to his fatal shooting has been granted shock probation. 20-year-old Taylor Thompson left incarceration Monday after serving about two months in jail. McCracken Circuit Judge Craig Clymer signed a probation order, letting Thompson out early from his two and a half year prison sentence. The Paducah Sun reports a Kevil homeowner fatally shot 18-year-old Barnett last year after the hallucinating teen broke into the residence apparently mistaking it for his own.
