Henderson, KY – The Kentucky Thoroughbred Development Fund advisory committee has increased the purse allotment for Ellis Park horse racing track in Henderson. KTDF has increased the Maiden races purses from 25-thousand to 30-thousand. Allowance races are up by almost ten thousand to 38-thousand. The total allotment for the summer meet is one-point-four million dollars. The increase is designed to increase Ellis Park's competitiveness with Indiana tracks and Arlington Park in Illinois. Ellis Park's summer season runs June 10 through Labor Day.
