Madisonville, KY – A Hopkins County man accused of hitting and killing a pedestrian with his car last year may have his bond revoked. A jury this week found John Hamilton guilty of shoplifting a rifle scope while he was out on bond. He was sentenced to a year in jail and ordered to pay a five hundred dollar fine. Commonwealth's Attorney David Massamore tells the Madisonville Messenger he will request to have a hearing set for May 3 ahead of Hamilton's murder trial. The trial is set for October.
