Murray, KY – Scattered thunderstorms will develop across southeast Missouri this afternoon that may spread east toward southern Illinois, western Kentucky, and northwestern Tennessee before sunset today. Thunderstorms will become more numerous and intense tonight with significant severe weather forecast for western Kentucky and northwestern Tennessee tomorrow afternoon. Strong winds in excess of 30 miles per hour with gusts over 45, large hail, and tornadoes are possible. The National Weather Service in Paducah reports that the severe weather should move out of our area by sunset Saturday. Stay tuned to 91.3 WKMS & 90.9 WKMD for the latest weather information.
