Murray, KY – Murray State University Public Safety is planning to conduct traffic safety checkpoints on and around campus beginning today. The checkpoints are expected to be ongoing at unannounced locations through May 6. Police officers will be on the lookout for impaired drivers, seat belt usage and children improperly restrained in their safety seats. The checkpoints mark the end of MSU's academic year coming to a close. This is the last week of Spring semester classes, followed by finals testing next week.
