Paducah, KY – Though the final statistics for Paducah's 26th annual quilt show won't come out for another week or so, vendors and officials are saying it was a success. Elgin, Illinois vendors Laura and Steve Wasilowski praised the air dome pavilion for its great lighting, saying the quilts' colors really stood out. Paducah ambassador Frances Mundy tells the Paducah Sun she overheard nothing but positive comments about how the pavilion's clean and airy feel enhanced the show. Show Director Bonnie Browning says although registrations were down 10 percent this year, the show was still a success.
