Murray, KY – Murray State University officials plan to hold tuition forums ahead of the Board of Regents meeting in May. The state Council on Postsecondary Education has approved a five percent cap on Murray State's tuition hike for the coming school year. Kentucky's General Assembly seems also poised to pass a state budget including a one and a half percent cut to higher education.. Students, staff, and faculty may offer their suggestions this Thursday during the forums. Meeting times are 10 AM and 3 PM in the Curris Center Theater. The Board of Regents will consider the comments as part of their overall tuition discussion May 7.
