Paducah, KY – The McCracken County Fiscal Court authorized additional incentives for H.T. Hackney Company to relocate from Shelbourne Street to Paducah's Industrial Park West. The incentives include cash, free land and tax rebates for the wholesale food distributor to build a new office and warehouse there. If approved by City Commissioners tonight, the deal will be to sell 23 acres to the company for one dollar, provide up to $100,000 to cover utility extensions and permits, as well as rebate the city and county property taxes for the next five years. The Paducah Sun reports Hackney, in return, will grow its workforce by 25 employees during that timeframe.
