Paducah, KY – McCracken County assistant superintendent Dr. Nancy Waldrop will replace Superintendent Tim Heller as he retires this June. She signed her employment contract at a school board meeting last night. Waldrop has been the county's assistant superintendent for nine years now and was the favored choice of three finalists vying for the post. The two other finalists include Humboldt, Tennessee superintendent Steve Bayko and McLean County superintendent Tres Settle.
