Paris, TN – Two school systems in Henry County, Tennessee will be the recipients of more than $1 million dollars in Federal Race to the Top funds. Henry County Schools will receive about $700,000 and the Paris Special School District almost $350,000. The Paris Post Intelligencer reports the money will be paid over four years. Both school systems have just over two months to present a scope of action report on what they intend to do with the funds.
