Trigg County, KY – Trigg County alcohol sales tax revenue has yielded $9,000 since the beginning of the year. Revenue reached just over $7,000 in January. It grew to almost $3,500 in February and nearly $5,000 in March. Vendors selling liquor pay a 6 percent tax to the county. Alcoholic Beverage Control administrator Jay Geiger tells the Cadiz Record Trigg County residents spent at least $73,000 worth of alcohol in March alone.
