Derby Outlook

By KPR

Louisville, KY – Twenty horses will likely race through a sloppy track tomorrow (Saturday) in the 136th running of the Kentucky Derby. Leading the full Derby field is early favorite Lookin' At Lucky, followed by second-favorite Sidney's Candy. Three horses are tied for the odds makers' third favorite, and one of them is the filly Devil May Care. Only three fillies have ever won the Derby, but owner John Greathouse says Devil May Care is looking strong.

"I think that if you all saw her work the other day here, you'd have to agree that she does have a level of talent. So when you see those things she does in the morning and when you see those gallop-outs, you have to be very impressed with her."

Heavy rains are predicted for Louisville this weekend, and the track could be muddy by the 6:04 PM post time.
