By Todd Hatton

Murray, KY – We have several roads closed due to high water in our area. In Caldwell County, KY Highway 128 is closed between the 6 and 7 mile markers and KY Highway 139 is closed between the 14 and 15 mile positions.

In Christian County, KY Highway 1338 is closed between the 3 and 4 mile markers and on KY Highway 189, the road between the 13 and 14 mile positions is closed due to a landslide that's caused cracking along the right of way, making it unsafe for travel. No detour has been given at this time due to several roads being threatened by high water.

In Hopkins County, US 62 is closed from the 16 mile marker to the 18 mile marker and US 41 is closed between the 16 and 17 mile positions. KY 70 is closed from the 11 mile marker to the 14 mile marker.

In Hickman County, there are closures on KY 58 and 123, however no mile position has been given at this time.

In Graves, US 45 is closed at the 1 to 2 mile positions, and in McCracken, KY highways 348 and 994 are closed at various points, so motorists need to watch for signs. Also in McCracken County, KY Highways 787 and 1255 are closed, and KY 1565 is closed near the intersection with KY 305.

KY 1943 is closed at the 3 point 4 mile marker in Trigg County and KY 1055 is closed at mile point 1 due to high lake waters.

We'll keep you updated on area road closures due to high water as they become available.
