Nashville, TN – Nashville's Ingram Barge Company predicts slowed production rates due to Cumberland River flooding. Because water levels are above some locks, barges can't get from one waterway to another. Senior Vice President Dan Mecklenborg says they won't lose as much money as they would if there were delays on the Ohio or Tennessee River, but the price tag still isn't easy to stomach. He estimates the company could lose up to ten-thousand-dollars a day from stalled production.
