Aurora, KY – Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake levels are 11 feet above summer pool after record amounts of water were discharged from Barkley Dam. Lake Barkley Corps of Engineers resource manager Mike Looney tells the Paducah Sun floodgate adjustments will be made over the next day and levels may increase to 370 feet by the weekend. Looney says the release of water from the dam Tuesday was an all-time high of 303,000 cubic feet per second.
