Dover, TN – River levels along the Cumberland River in Stewart County, Tennessee, are expected to stay about the same for the next five days. Emergency Management Services Director Greg Barrow says the river crested at 374 and a half feet. Barrow says the Corps of Engineers has slowed release from the dam at Lake Barkley because water levels were rising too much on the Ohio River. A water treatment plant that had been out in Cumberland City was restored Tuesday afternoon. The Cumberland City coal plant continues to operate as mechanized pumps clear out water there.
