Senate Democrat Hopefuls to Debate in Paducah

Paducah, KY – Five Democrats running for the Kentucky US Senate seat being vacated by Jim Bunning will debate tonight in Paducah. McCracken County Democratic Chairman Don Mitchell tells the Paducah Sun the event will be a spirited debate in western Kentucky's only democratic forum scheduled prior to the May 18th primary. Front-runners Attorney General Jack Conway and Lieutenant Governor Dan Mongiardo will join James Buckmaster of Henderson, Darlene Price of Whitley City and Maurice Sweeney of Louisville at the Julian Carroll Convention Center tonight at 7:00. Admission to the event costs $20 and includes food.
