Cadiz, KY – As flood warnings continue for counties along the Cumberland River and Lake Barkley shoreline, Trigg County Emergency Management Director Randy Wade says water over roads is most likely all residents will face.
"Everybody's made sure they've got an alternate route in and out of their homes. Very few homes are compromised, I mean there's no homes that is being flooded it's just the roadways - getting in and out of them. But everything's good in Trigg County. The water is coming up."
Wade says when lake levels rise Ferry Landing Road in Lenton and Carl Gray Road in Rock Castle are the first to be covered by water. Wade says in order for Trigg County homes to be threatened, waters have to rise at least another 8 feet.
