Murray, KY – Murray State's Board of Regents met in special session today to approve tuition and fees for the coming academic year. The board approved a 5% increase. Student Regent Kara Mantooth cast the only dissenting vote. The 5% increase equals around $300 per academic year for residents, and nearly #800 for non-residents. Kentucky's Council on Post Secondary Education capped tuition increases for regional universities such as Murray State at 5% for the 2010-2011 academic year.
