Clarksville, TN – Over 350 Clarksville businesses are reporting flood damage. Over 200 of those are located on Riverside Drive, which runs parallel to the Cumberland River and had been underwater for much of the week. Officials re-opened access to the roadway yesterday evening, which is expected to alleviate traffic congestion on many nearby secondary roads. And while many businesses begin recovery efforts today, many area students are going back to school. Clarksville-Montgomery and Stewart County School Systems are re-opening after a one week hiatus.
