Grayson tours Kentucky

By Rebecca Feldhaus/KPR

Frankfort, KY – Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson began a 30-county tour of the state today. Grayson is seeking the Republican U-S Senate nomination next Tuesday. The tour continues through Monday. Yesterday, Dr. Rand Paul, the frontrunner in the Republican primary, was campaigning in Lexington, where he spoke to our Tony McVeigh.

"People say, oh, there's 10 to 20 percent still undecided. But I think a lot of those in a primary may not vote - if you haven't decided by now - because they've been getting bombarded with information on both sides. So, I'll be surprised if there's really 20 percent undecided at this point. I think a lot of the decisions have been made and poll after poll seems to show the same result. So, we feel pretty good about where we are."

Paul, who maintains a double-digit lead over Grayson in recent polls, was endorsed Sunday by the Lexington Herald-Leader. The Louisville Courier-Journal has decided to not endorse either man.
