Madisonville, KY – GM officials are working with Madisonville Community College to set up a training curriculum at plant in Pune, India. GM official Jim Cosens says his company is working with MCC's Advanced Industrial Integrated Technology Program to set up the course. The Madisonville Messenger reports the company found MCC through Automotive Manufacturers Technical Education Collaborative. Cosens says if negotiations go through, instructors from the Indian Technical Institute would soon visit MCC for training. Cosens is optimistic about the proposal.
