Paducah, KY – The woman who sold mushrooms to McCracken County teen Caleb Barnett, before he was fatally shot by a homeowner, has been denied probation. 20-year-old Kelsey Burchett yesterday told Circuit Judge Craig Clymer she continued to sell the drug after the tragedy. Clymer sentenced her to three years in jail for two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, saying he may eventually grant her shock probation. The Paducah Sun reports Caleb Barnett was apparently hallucinating when he broke into a neighbor's home last summer and was fatally shot.
