Cadiz, KY – The five Trigg County men accused of raping a 16-year-old girl two years ago have taken a plea agreement amending the charges to second-degree assault. 22-year-old Marcus Mayes and 21-year-olds Christopher Futrell, Nicholas King, Devon Morris and Michael Oakley have all agreed to the Commonwealth's plea offer. The Kentucky New Era reports all five are expected to read public apology letters at a hearing next month.
