Clarksville, TN – Work at the Clarksville Marina is expected to continue after flooding from the Cumberland River surged to high levels in the area. Questions are surfacing now whether TMS Contracting, the company developing the marina, has flood insurance covering its dirt work. TMS President Thom Spigner tells the Clarksville Leaf Chronicle the company has risk insurance on the buildings, but doesn't insure dirt and rock. A damage assessment will be conducted once the site is accessible again, after about three feet of water drains by sometime mid next week. Setbacks to the construction timeline are likely.
