Incumbent Cut Out in District Judge Race

By Angela Hatton

Calhoun, KY – The non-partisan election for 45th District Judge ended in a tie last night. Challengers Steve Lamb and Brian Crick both received 33.6 percent of the vote. Incumbent Terry Earle received slightly less, with 32.6 percent. The Judicial Nominating Commission appointed Earle to the judge's position December 2009 to fill a vacancy. Crick and Lamb will go on to face each other in the general election this November.
