Bowling Green, KY – His campaign manager says Rand Paul has a full day of national media interviews ahead of him after winning last night's Republican primary for US Senate. The first-time political candidate easily secured the GOP nomination with about 60 percent of the vote over Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson. With help from the Tea Party movement, Paul pledged to take government back.
"We've come to take our government back from the special interest who think that the federal government is their own personal ATM. From the politicians who bring us over-sized fake checks emblazoned with their signature as if it was their money to give."
Paul is a Bowling Green eye surgeon who will face Democratic Attorney General Jack Conway in the general election. The two are running for the seat of retiring U-S Senator Jim Bunning.
