Paducah, KY – Two western Kentucky counties had some of the lowest voter turnouts in Tuesday's primary. McCracken County was fourth worst in the state with only 18 and a half percent turnout. County Clerk Jeff Jerrell had predicted 20 percent of registered voters would turn out. Jerrell says there wasn't much on the McCracken County ballot to draw people to the polls. Christian County also ranked low at 7th worst with 22 and a half percent of those registered voting. Statewide, 32 percent of Kentuckians came out to cast their ballot.
