Cadiz, KY – A Trigg County grand jury has indicted the aunt and uncle of a Lake Barkley drowning victim with their niece's death. Fifteen-year-old Fawna Whaley of Clarksville, Indiana, died last June. Daniel and Michelle Childers face second degree manslaughter in connection with Whaley's death. WKDZ reports the family was camping and Whaley allegedly drank some of the Childers' alcohol before going swimming. Her body was found two hours later. The Trigg County Coroner says the cause of death was drowning due to acute intoxication. Whaley's blood alcohol content was twice the legal limit.
